New My Waste App connecting producers of waste to reprocessing facilities

Enzygo are pleased to support a My Waste App, a new application that connects producers of waste to reprocessing facilities.

Thursday 1 November 2018; Launched today is WasteApp; a comprehensive web-based application that, for the first time in England and Wales, connects producers of waste to reprocessing facilities. The data located in WasteApp will allow, for example, waste management companies, to find treatment facilities by specific streams of waste, or by waste activity, as well as location. This will not only help accelerate the optimum treatment and reprocessing of waste but will also open up business growth opportunities for the waste industry.

WasteApp is a web-based application which comprehensively connect producers of waste with the waste industry. WasteApp processes information on waste companies and the wastes they’re able to accept and translates this information into easy to use search tools to enable users to find waste treatment facilities based on their waste types or by waste activity type.

The search results are rated based on the quality of the input data sources. This will mean that producers of waste will readily be able to source companies who can handle and treat their specific wastes, whilst opening up business growth opportunities for the waste industry. Waste companies can sign up to WasteApp to promote their site. Once registered, and this process involves checking site details, waste processes and waste types, the rating will improve as WasteApp has more confidence in the information used in the searches. Waste companies will receive an enhanced listing, feature higher up the search results and receive direct enquiries from search tool users.
